Privacy Policy

BevReg Alert is operated by Sugar Island, LLC. This policy describes how we handle information submitted to our website and subscription service.

Information we collect

We collect the contact and business details you provide, your selected plan, jurisdictions and alert topics, communications with us, and subscription and gift delivery information. Stripe processes checkout and payment information; we receive transaction details needed to administer your purchase, rather than your full card number.

If you sign up for the free sample alert or weekly roundup, we collect your email address, the optional business type and coverage interest you choose, the page you signed up from, the time, and your approximate country (derived from your IP address by our host). We do not store your full IP address with your signup.

How we use it

We use this information to provide regulatory alerts and reports, match onboarding preferences to purchases, deliver gifts, manage billing and support, prevent misuse, and send service notices. We send marketing messages only when you separately opt in or when otherwise permitted, and you can opt out of marketing at any time.

Service providers

We use providers for payment processing, website hosting, email delivery, and inbox handling. They receive information needed to perform those services. We do not sell customer contact lists.

Currently these include Stripe (payments, billing and the customer portal), Cloudflare (website hosting, signup storage, the Turnstile bot check on our forms, and forwarding of email sent to our addresses), and Brevo (email delivery). If we use Google Ads, our site loads a Google tag to measure whether an ad led to a purchase; it is not loaded for browsers that send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, and we turn off Google signals and ad personalization for it.

Retention and security

We retain records while needed to provide the service, manage accounts and gifts, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable recordkeeping obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct your preferences or request access to or deletion of information by emailing admin@bevregalert.com. Some records may need to be retained for billing, legal, or operational reasons. You can unsubscribe from marketing messages separately from service alerts.

Updates

We may update this policy and post the revised version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated when appropriate.
